Current and Upcoming Studies
DIABETES STUDY 1:
DO YOU HAVE TYPE 2 DIABETES AND ARE TAKING ONLY GLUCOPHAGE OR METFORMIN FOR DIABETES?
Dr. Nurnberg and her staff at Commonwealth Clinical Research Specialists are conducting a study of an investigational oral medicine designed to improve blood sugar control.
You may be eligible to participate if
- you are 18 to 80 years old.
Qualified participants will receive:
- Study-related medical care and supplies at no cost
- Compensation for time and travel

DIABETES STUDY 2:
Dr. Nurnberg and her staff at CCRS are conducting a Diabetes research study of an investigational drug for blood sugar control.
Participants must:
- Be taking no or only one Diabetes medicine
- Have been diagnosed with Diabetes for at least 3 months, but no longer than 5 years ago
- Be 18 years of age or older
Qualified participants will receive:
- Free study-related medical care
- Compensation for time and travel

DIABETES STUDY 3:
If you have type 2 diabetes, find out if you qualify for a clinical research study of an investigational oral diabetes medication.
You may be eligible if:
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes
- AND
- You are age 30 or older and have had a heart attack or stroke, or other heart or vascular problem
- OR
- You are age 50 or older and have been told by your doctor that you are at high risk for heart disease
Participation is at no cost to you and you may receive compensation for time and travel.
